This is the first image I uploaded to the blog. It's originally a B&W 35mm negative that I scanned in color (24 bit) and later converted to greyscale and retouched. What a difference, right? I prefer a high contrast, but tried to bring out as much of the midtones in the bottles as I possibly could without losing too much contrast using Curve.
